ECHO's Services

• Medical Services - ECHO provides patients with comprehensive physician evaluations and treatment plans and diabetes care, which may include routine laboratory tests. Vouchers are necessary for off-site tests such as an X-ray or an MRI.
• Dental Services - The ECHO Dental Suite has two chairs which allow our dentists to treat more patients in a faster, easier manner. Currently the only service offered is extractions.
• Optometry - The optometrist performs complete eye exams and, if necessary, the patient can receive free prescription eyeglasses.
• Mental Health Services - ECHO has counselors on the volunteer staff. These professionals provide in-depth patient counseling as an extension of a patient's medical treatment plan. This can involve long term counseling plans.
• Physical Therapy - ECHO has fully trained and licensed physical therapists who treat patients with exercise and therapy for pain relief.​
• Community Services - This area is staffed by licensed social workers who provide counseling, assistance in researching a myriad of area services, and agency referrals. The social workers are very helpful with applications for disability, Medicaid, Medicare, etc.
• Medication Assistance - The ECHO in-house pharmacy has a small, limited inventory of medications which can be prescribed for the patients until the patients can take a prescription to a local pharmacy. Patients can apply through the ECHO Medication Assistance Program for certain free medications for up to one year from many pharmaceutical companies. This is an excellent program that saves patients hundreds of dollars.
• Spanish Translation Aid - Volunteers are available during every Clinic session to assist with interpreting. This is most helpful in providing the patients with accurate medical information.
